In case you haven’t heard the Rio buffet situation has changed. They just revealed the new combined Carnival World & Seafood Buffet. The buffet also has new prices. Details in the press release below:

On Friday, November 13, two of Las Vegas’ iconic buffets joined forces for an all-new buffet dining experience at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Carnival World Buffet and Village Seafood Buffet came together to create Carnival World & Seafood Buffet, bringing more than 70 seafood offerings to the already expansive selection of dishes.

“By combining these two iconic buffets, we are creating one of the best buffet experiences in Las Vegas,” said Dan Walsh, General Manager of Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. “All of the guest favorite all-you-can-eat seafood offerings that were previously offered at Village Seafood Buffet will be offered at the new location and now seafood lovers will also get to enjoy more than 200 additional selections that have always been offered in Carnival World Buffet.”

At the original entrance, guests now have the option to purchase just the Carnival World offerings or for a $15 upgrade, they may access the premium Seafood section.

New pricing is as follows:

Lunch, Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – $24.99
Dinner, Monday – Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. – $32.99 / $46.99 with seafood offerings

Interesting. I wonder if the Rio will accept the Las Vegas Advisor 2 for 1 coupon for the dinner buffet with the seafood option? That would be a great deal, even if my wife hates seafood. LOL We will check it out in December. Thanks, Marc….great work as always,

      Haha. Thanks!

It’s probably just good for the normal buffet but it never hurts to ask.
