William Hill focuses much of their marketing on getting people to use their app to place bets. Every now and again they offer promotions to entice people to make bets with actual money. This promotion for a free mint julep glass with a $20 bet on the Kentucky Derby makes sense since the average age of horse bettors is 95. 95-year-old men can’t work apps anyway. Also, get off their lawn.
You can bet horse racing futures with the William Hill app but you can’t bet on individual horse races. This is the case with all of the Nevada sports betting apps. Since I live in Vegas I always have my sports betting apps loaded with funds. Including horse betting I use apps to place bets about 95% of my bets. I’m past the point in my life where I care too much about getting a drink ticket for a $4 Bud for each $50 I bet in person.
