Numbers weren’t the only thing discussed in Caesars Entertainment’s Q3 earnings call. The casino giant also talked sports betting expansion plans.

During their 2nd quarter earnings call Caesars Entertainment representatives stated that they would be aggressively promoting Las Vegas hotel prices during the fourth quarter. Well, we’re in the fourth quarter and there are discounts and complimentary hotel offers available like we’ve never seen before.
The Linq hotel, casino, and promenade always seem to be changing. Earlier this year Caesars Entertainment announced a unique attraction coming to The Linq next year called Kind Heaven. You don’t have to wait until 2019 to see something new at The Linq.
This has been quite a year for Palms. The first phase of renovations is complete just two years after being purchased by Station Casinos. Much of the casino floor has a new look and the work isn’t complete. There will be new venues opening at Palms throughout 2019.
SEMA is in Las Vegas this week. The show will take place from October 30 – November 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Why am I telling you this off the bat? The automotive specialty products trade show is one of the largest in Las Vegas every year.
Roll to Win Craps from Aruze Gaming was the talk of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) this year. The new semi-automated craps game that replaces felt with a table-length LED display caused quite a stir. The concept of a semi-automated craps game isn’t entirely new.
Derek Stevens recently announced that he’s submitted paperwork with the Nevada Gaming Control Board to start taking sports bets at The D, Golden Gate, and his soon to be built 18 Fremont casinos. William Hill currently operates The D sportsbook while the Golden Gate offers guests a William Hill kiosk.
The newest and coolest nightlife activity on the Vegas Strip is… karaoke. Sorry big name DJ’s, the people are ready to move on from the previous hottest trend in nightlife. On The Record, the newest nightlife venue on the Vegas Strip is on schedule to open at Park MGM on December 28.
Last year, the Golden Gate Casino in downtown Las Vegas expanded and virtually doubled the size of its casino in less than a week. The casino will expand once again when its new sportsbook opens, likely before summer.
