Nice writeup — short and sweet. I was in Vegas the same time as you. Stayed at the Rio, and visited A LOT of casinos. Lost a bundle on high-limit VP — about $2K. Went for the big score and bit off a little more than I could chew … oh well, it’s Vegas.
I’d be interested to see what you think of The Gold Coast. The Palms is fantastic.

Sorry to hear about the losses. I had a great run on my last morning to get me back to almost even on the trip. I stayed away from high limits for the most part since JOB was only 8/6.
