I’m not a fan of Hogs And Heifers because it’s crazy smokey and I don’t like country music or bartenders yelling into a megaphone (GOML). That being said, I’m always looking for an excuse to use this picture that I snapped of Hogs And Heifers in Downtown Vegas at 11am. The place was bumpin and I couldn’t even fit all of the motorcycles into the frame of this picture. People love Hogs And Heifers and it’s always a party.
With that in mind this event is a perfect fit for those of you who are into the HnH, tattoos and Sailor Jerry – the booze and the man. Here are the details:
Thursday, June 12 is Sailor Jerry Day, honoring the anniversary of a legend’s death and as such, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum will celebrate appropriately at Hogs & Heifers. Beginning at 4 p.m., guests are invited to join the festivities and raise a glass in honor of Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins with $4 Old Ironside cocktails and $3 shots of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum as well as grub on finger licking eats from Rolling Smoke barbeque (See Vegas Chatter review).
In addition, Ed Word of Bad Apple Tattoo and Kyle Montoya of Stay True Tattoo will setup shop at Hogs & Heifers to honor the father of old school tattooing by tattooing a number of lucky patrons. Guests will be able to win complimentary tattoos by entering a drawing on site where winners will be announced each hour.
Sailor Jerry Pin-Up models will also be on hand and guests with Hot Rods and Motorcycles are invited to park their pride and joy in front of Hogs & Heifers for all to admire.
